Screenshot081_1_1 Man, I’m sorry guys. I’m JUST NOW getting around to posting these two and I’ve had them since mid-March! This is cool though because I had never heard of Mechatronics Engineering before the surveys, and both of the following are majoring in it.

Today we’re hearing (finally) from Chris Renton (of Australia) and Oliver Budack (of Germany), both engineering students who use their tablet in the classroom. Thanks, guys!

We are all very busy and keeping track of every single project or task is sometimes difficult. I am one of these people that likes to actually see that I am making progress. I feel more in control of my work when I know exactly what are the key priorities and projects that need to be tackled.

Microsoft released this tasty flash demo today with the Education Pack.

This is a quick, visual way of showing your parents what a tablet can do. I know many students are looking to get their college computers right now, and I think this is a compelling way to show your parents that you need that tablet.

Hey y’all. I have the tablet on eBay for $1,199 buy it now for the next five days. The keyboad, inverter, and hinge are all new. Please, someone in that big wide world buy my tablet…I lowered the price and everything…lol.

Wow, major thanks to the creator of this software (and to Rob Bushway, Warner Crocker, and Scott Hanselman for pointing me to it). My life as a tablet owner just became that much easier.

FinePrint gives you the option to preview anything you’re about to print and modify the wazzoo out of the layout. Print 2, 4, or 8 pages on one sheet, make a booklet, add a watermark, zoom or shrink to fit on one page, modify the margins, skip graphics, add a header, etc.

A Good Reason to “Get” Tablets While In School

16 July 2005 Posted By: Tracy
Posted in: Tablet Concepts

What I’m meaning in the title is everyone in schooling right now who has a chance to understand how to work a tablet will have an instant upperhand in the future workplace.

Much like how children of today will have far superior computing skills than those who never saw a computer until they were 35, acquiring the skills now for tablet use will be one less thing to worry about later in life when learning is only harder. How many times have you had your parents ask you how to do something on the computer? Face it, the earlier in life you experience learning something, the easier it will come to you. Think about how fast little kids pick up languages.
