This is just not my day.
byI give up.
I had a post (a long post) about my paperless week #1 update almost finished when I apparently ran my finger across the stupid "browser shortcut" touchpad gesture and that invoked the Back button, losing my enire post. But wait, I did the highlight>>copy trick just incase that happened (wouldn’t be the first time but I didn’t figure out until just now how to disable it). Ctrl+V. Oh look, it didn’t copy. Great. Just great.
This is not my day (there were several other non tech-related things also that I won’t get into here). I’m going to bed.

I’ve been there! I’ve taken to copying entries into WordPad or Scribbler and saving frequently, to save me some heartache. I used to use Blogger’s “Save as Draft” button a lot. Just copying to my clipboard wasn’t working for me, because I’m always copying URLs into my entries. I briefly used an app that let me have multiple items in my clipboard, but it didn’t really work out.
Congrats on the new site!

November 5th, 2005 at 7:33 amYep, done that with forum posts. Not a problem with my blog though as I am forced to generate everything ahead of time.
November 5th, 2005 at 7:49 amAre you using IE? Firefox saves your text so that you can go back and then forward an it will not be lost.
November 6th, 2005 at 12:49 pmThe sad part (irony?) is that this post should be read by all library leaders but will not since only a small minority see any value in the blogspace to begin with.
