Meet Tracy
29 May 2006 Posted By: TrevorPosted in: Tracy's Updates
Tracy was over at Rob Bushway’s place in Colorado. They filmed a nice chat between them all. You can see the ever-present Tracy in action. Please check it out!

Summer Start
24 May 2006 Posted By: AndrewPosted in: Blog Related
Uber congrats to Trevor for finishing college and getting hired by Google. He gives us all hope that college really isn’t a black hole.
I arrived back in Seattle at 4:30am PDT after a grueling drive home (we were towing a boat and I had to bring Dunstan, my cat, back too). In any event, I’m calling today the first day of Summer Break 2006, at least break from school, I actually got out about two weeks ago, but my brother had an Ultimate Tournament up in Boulder, Colorado, so I stayed for that.
Sorry, I’ll be away for a while
19 May 2006 Posted By: TracyPosted in: Tracy's Updates
Until the end of May, I might be hard to find. It all depends on the internet situation where I’m going.
Right now, I’m out of town, but the hotel has internet so I can check email and post this. I come home Saturday, but leave again Sunday for a week-long UT camp thing, which should be nice, but since it’s in the middle of nowhere (it’s not a camping trip, it’s just a remote location), I’m not sure they’ll have internet for me to connect, and I’m pretty sure I won’t get EVDO out there.
Logitech mm28 Portable Speaker Review
18 May 2006 Posted By: TrevorPosted in: Hardware
Logitech kindly sent me a set of their mm28 portable speakers. Having used several pairs of portable spakers in the past, and feeling much to be desired (either in portability or in sound quality) I am quite happy with these. More after the jump…

Done
18 May 2006 Posted By: TrevorPosted in: Trevor's Updates
Holy crap. I’m done with college. Yesterday at 3:30pm I finished my last final (Game Theory and Business Decisions, scored 1.5 standard deviations above the mean!) and essentially officially finished college. I’ve gone through one graduation already, and have another this Saturday.
I find myself in kind of an odd state. I mean, for the last 18 or so years I have been a student such that school was my only major occupation. Now that’s no longer the case. I may eventually go to grad school, not sure for what, but really it’s the end of an era.
Happy Mother’s Day, Mom
14 May 2006 Posted By: TracyPosted in: Tracy's Updates
To the woman who made this all possible, happy Mother’s Day.
You always said I could do anything I put my mind to, and I took you seriously every time you said it. Thanks for being there always, and thanks for supporting my many many many ideas, even when they change daily (remember the Tae Kwon Do classes that I went to only once?). You actually listen to my long-winded babbles, and you put up with my endless tech-talk, you don’t laugh at me when I come home with a new gadget you and I both know I don’t need, and you’ll stay up until 2 AM (or 3 AM…) comforting me with a cup of tea when something doesn’t go quite as planned.
Feed2Podcast to hear your favorite bloggers on your iPod
13 May 2006 Posted By: TracyPosted in: Blog Related
What you probably don’t know is we’ve had a podcast available for several months now. It’s just not us talking ^_^. Feed2Podcast will take any feed and turn it into an iTunes subscribe-able podcast by reading each post to you in a computer voice (it’s not that bad of a voice for a free service). You can cloose a guy’s voice or girl’s voice. I have our site’s as a guy’s since I’m out numbered 2-1, and I think it sounds better.
You can click the listen now button to hear a sample, and you can subscribe just like any normal podcast feed.
GeckoTIP has a left-handed scroll bar! Woohoo!
13 May 2006 Posted By: TracyPosted in: Software Info
I just updated my FireFox extensions, and I saw GeckoTIP gave me the option to toggle left-handed scroll bars! Cool! It displays the scroll bar on both the left and the right (for most pages) so you have options. This is an AWESOME feature for us lefties! FireFox is now my browser of choice (it was Maxthon).
CONTEST: Design the new Student Tablet PC Header
12 May 2006 Posted By: TracyPosted in: Blog Related, Contests/Give-aways
You may have picked up from a past post that we’re planning on making a big move from MovableType to WordPress. You may also remember our move from TypePad to MovableType wasn’t exactly seamless ^^. This time we’re doing it right. It also helps that we’re doing it over the summer and we’ll actually have time to do it right. (This time we aren’t moving locations, and we’ll make sure the links still work).
4 Days Left in the NoteTalkers/MindManager Contest
11 May 2006 Posted By: TracyPosted in: Contests/Give-aways, Websites
I feel bad. For the longest time I thought the Notetalkers folks (the elusive AdminID and Sid) had fallen to a common blogger foe: The Real World. I didn’t see anything new in my RSS feeds (which is VERY cool having native in Outlook 12, by the way) so I thought there just hadn’t been any posts in a long time, except for the contest (which I heard about through e-mail).
I was looking up the specifics on the contest and just for the heck of it I copied the feed into Outlook just to make sure I had it.
