DSCN0409 (2)Hi everyone, I’m Will and I am excited to say that I am a new author here at Student Tablet PC.

I’m studying Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science at The University of Adelaide, Australia and use a Toshiba M200 as my daily tablet. I have a strong passion for technology and have been into Tablet PCs for a long time. I have owned numerous PDAs and actually have made my own slate out of a old Compaq Aero. I love DIY and pushing technology beyond its intentions and limits. I also successfully run my own business in computer services including tutoring, repairs, upgrades and sales. This means that I am always up to date with current technologies and get lots of people’s feedback and experiences in using computers every day.

I use my tablet for a myriad of things including car navigation, yacht routing, industrial design, art sketching, software development, network diagnosis on top of the more common and student oriented; taking notes, doing assignments. reading news and communications stuff. I have a post almost ready which outlines all of the latest tablets to be released and what they can do for students. However, once that is posted I’m looking for suggestions from you as to which of my applications I should talk about first.

I know a lot of people have been frustrated with the level of content on Student Tablet PC recently and hopefully I and the rest of the team can help pick it up again. I have lots of exiting news, tips and applications to share and can’t wait to get started.
