Holy crap. I’m done with college. Yesterday at 3:30pm I finished my last final (Game Theory and Business Decisions, scored 1.5 standard deviations above the mean!) and essentially officially finished college. I’ve gone through one graduation already, and have another this Saturday.

I find myself in kind of an odd state. I mean, for the last 18 or so years I have been a student such that school was my only major occupation. Now that’s no longer the case. I may eventually go to grad school, not sure for what, but really it’s the end of an era.

Some of you may know, but I had a battle with appendicitis this last week. Last Tuesday I went to the hospital thinking I might have appendicitis. Turns out I was right and I had surgery that night to remove my appendix. I am now in the process of recovery, which means a bit of pain and a lot of make-up work to take care of.

I do have some good news though. I got a job! After school, I’ll be starting as a Associate Product Marketing Manager (APMM) at . The Taboogle shall soon be a reality!

Hello there?

Who am I, you ask? Yes, I certainly admit to being AWOL for the last xx months. Everytime I think I’ll have more time to contribute to this site, I don’t. Well, I’m setting some priorities straight. I logged into the Buzz today and realized I hadn’t visited in over two weeks. There’s something wrong with my life if I don’t have time to even check in on the community in two weeks.

General Updates

First and foremost, as of Wednesday morning my tablet was officially reported as, "Off Hold…Repair in Progress." Always good to be taken off hold. After calling, Toshiba said the LCD mask held it up since they had to order it. What I’m wondering is if LCD screens are in high demand or if they just hope people don’t need to replace them since they don’t keep enough in stock. Either way, my tablet is now on day 20 since the screen break and day 13 since arriving where ever Toshiba repair is (I forgot already).

Lack of Updates

Sorry about the recent lack of updates here. I’m in my last week here at Microsoft and that means crazy projects. Yesterday I gave a presentation to the head of my division and about 20 others, and I’ve got a few more things to get out the door before I leave.

I return to Berkeley next week and I’ve got some time and some posts I want to get up before school starts. Look for those then.

So I’m back briefly. Microsoft has me INCREDIBLY BUSY, but I am enjoying my work. I am seeing so much cool stuff, especially tablet stuff. I’m going to be at WWPC (Worldwide Partner Conference) next week.

So I am posting about something I saw from another intern. He ordered a CD from CDBaby.com. I generally buy my CDs from Amazon.com. My latest order from Amazon got me this email in my mailbox…
