Admittedly, the recent review of Mindjet MindManager Pro 7 was a bit light on when it came to actual example Mindmaps. Fortunately, BenoƮt, one of our readers, whipped up a great example which includes all of the elements that are recommended in great mindmaps.

Since it is currently exam study time for me at the moment, I have been hard at work whipping up mindmaps too. Have a look at one of my subject wide examples after the jump.

4 June 2007 Posted By: William
Posted in: MindManager, Software Info

Normally, day-to-day wise, I’m not a mindmap kind of guy. However, come exam time, they’re one of the only things that work for me. I was pretty excited to hear that the new version of Mindmanager was on its way. Mindmanager 6 was the most complete software I have ever used. It is extremely hard to come up with a feature that they had missed without resulting to the impractical like, it doesn’t make coffee. So, without further ado, lets look at the new Mindmap Pro 7 from the ground up.

Excellent video on how a teacher uses MindManager

28 February 2006 Posted By: Tracy
Posted in: MindManager

Scott Guthrie, who looks to be a high school teacher, produced a great video (again, with Camtasia) demonstrating how he uses MindManager in the classroom. There’s been a bunch of talk and demo’s of MindManager lately, but I especially like this one because it helps show not only the features of MM, but also ways people are using the software.

I’m Having Fun With MindManager

3 November 2005 Posted By: Tracy
Posted in: MindManager, Note-Taking

The people at MindJet are THE BEST and gave me a copy of MindManager 6 as a thank you for supporting them with our site, and I have been having soooo much fun with it.

I’ve always been interested in the software, but the $129 (is that right?) for the academic version was just too much for me to shell out after the short 21 day trial (what happened to a 30 day trial? 60?). Because of that, I always avoided getting attached to it since the little I knew was very intriguing as it was.
